Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These card kits are something I purchase EACH season.  Cardmaking is where I started in my papercrafting "world" and creating cards, will always be dear to my heart!
Today, I used my favorite, current cardmaking kit called "Here for You".  This kit features the Some Kinda Wonderful paper pack & includes it's own exclusive stamp set!
Let's take a look at what I created with this kit...and then make sure to STAY TUNED to see what actually comes in the original kit!
This stamp set is lovely, and I tried a few different ways to use this stamp set!
Here are my two cards I created...
I had already created this kit of cards, but wanted to use up "scraps"  from the leftovers. :)  I added the following items to create my cards above....
Memo Fundamentals
Sapphire Cardstock
Inks use: Raspberry, Blossom, Willow, Lagoon & Sapphire.
Let's take a look at the first card....
I stamped the flowers "normal"....by stamping the base a lighter color, and the "sketch" part of the flower in a darker shade of ink - then I cut out those circle flowers. :)
My pattern design for this card came from our Originals How-To-Book, pattern "Balance It Out"
My second card, I decided to get out some white embossing powder & the heat tool....take a look at this card. :)
I used the "map" paper from the Memo Fundamentals, and then used my VersaMark stamp pad to stamp the flowers, added white embossing powder, heated it to melt the powder & then sponged the embossed images with lagoon & blossom ink! :)
I adore the open leaves on this stamp set...and used those leaves to add a touch of Willow Green to this card.
The blossom colored banner, is leftover cardstock from the kit.  I was really excited to see how well the SAPPHIRE color worked with the original color scheme of this cardmaking kit.
----------------------------------------------------------------
NOW...let's take a moment & check out all that's included in the ORIGINAL cardmaking kit!! :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have arrived from Tracey's blog you are right on track.

Today I wanted to share a FUN creation I created with Close To My Heart's Flower Market Cricut Cartridge.

I held my annual Winter Scrapbooking Retreat last weekend & I try and do something "special" for my ladies, each year.  This year, I decided to make this FUN succulent flower pot for each guest as their Name Tag. :)  Take a look!

What FUN it was to create these, and how easy too...although creating 45 of them did take me a little bit of time ;)

Here is the DESIGN SPACE file for those of you that would like to create some of these easy-to-keep-alive succulents of your own. https://us.cricut.com/design/#/canvas/57068399

I created the flowers first, cutting them out in Juniper Cardstock, and then inking all the edges with Pansy Purple ink.
There were 5 different shapes that needed to be glued together to create the succulent.  LIQUID GLASS was my hero, and worked beautifully to hold these together!

I purchased the flower pots at the dollar tree - they had a variety of sizes - and the stick to hold my "hello" Cricut shape was just a bamboo skewer.
The gold gems are a retired item from Close To My Heart, and I used our black journaling pen to personalize each one.

Once all the flowers were created...I took everything out to our garage to assemble everything together. The Spanish Moss was a great touch, but if you've worked with this before, you KNOW how messy it can be! :)

Here's a look at my "workspace" (freezer top ;) ) out in our garage.  It worked REALLY well....and yes, the metal ruler WAS my knife to cut my foam blocks - LOL!

I used the hot glue to glue the foam to bottom of pot, to glue the Spanish moss onto the top of the foam...and then finished it off by gluing the succulent on top of the Spanish Moss! :)  It worked better than I even thought it would! :) :)

I ADORE the Flower Market Cricut cartridge & haven't used it NEAR enough, since it's August 1st release! :) While this cartridge can be used for 3D items...there are TONS of shapes, titles, etc that can be used for non-flower items too!!
Make sure to check out the HANDBOOK of all 700 images on this amazing cartridge (CLICK HERE) ....and contact your Consultant today on how you can receive your own copy of this MAGNIFICENT cartridge, that can be found ONLY at Close To My Heart! :)

If you haven't seen the goodies from Close To My Heart in the Seasonal Expression 1 mini-book...make sure to touch base with your CTMH consultant, or feel free to CLICK HERE.

This "mini-book" is ONLY current until April 30, 2017!! SO...if you have anything on your wish list from this book - you'll want to make sure to get those goodies before they are gone forever! :)

That's all for today....thanks for stopping by, and I hope you were inspired to ready to go CREATE something on your own!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now it’s time to Hop on over to my friend Andrea's  blog and see what beautiful, crafty item she has to share with us!
Happy Hopping and we’ll see you on the 9th next month, when the Joyful Stars team members will be sharing more artwork using Close To My Heart products!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Here is this months EXCLUSIVE stamp set....

What an adorable family of partridges! I adored the saying "we are blessed" and chose to use that on the card I created.
Take a look....

I used our wonderful how to books for this sketch, paired with our FABULOUS Fundamentals line

Rustic Fundamentals (barn board) and the Enchantment fundamentals (sapphire & pomegranate) were the papers I chose to use for this SIMPLE card! :)

I stamped my images using our pigment inks...giving the images a "bolder" look.  Then finished off this quick & easy card by using a ribbon from our Rustic Home Ribbon Collection and 2 shimmer gems from the gold collection.

Here are the Rustic & Enchantment papers...some of my FAVORITE papers we carry right now at Close To My Heart!

Here we go!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ADORE the Thin Cut Bundles & am SO EXCITED they are discounted this month at Close To My Heart!!
Did you know there are 4 stamp sets that are EXCLUSIVELY bundled for THIS month only???
Check out the four EXCLUSIVE sets below....
So..what are Thin Cuts?
Thin Cuts are metal dies that you use to cut shapes, images or words!
You will need to use the metal dies in a Cuttlebug machine, or another similar cutting/embossing machine.
Today I'll be showing you a sample of a THIN CUT BUNDLE...where you receive the Stamp set & the coordinating set of Thin Cuts to cut out most of your stamped images on the stamp set!
Please keep in mind, that you can purchase just a Thin Cut, with no included stamp set.  There are words - basic shapes, etc...and you'll want to check out ALL of the items included in the SALE by checking with your CTMH consultant OR by clicking HERE
------------------------------------------------------------------
My FAVORITE Thin Cut bundle - is this beautiful "Swirly Seashell" collection.
Normally, the retail price of this double collection would be $31.95....however - THIS MONTH with the 25% discount - the cost is ONLY $23.96....WAHOOO!!!
I created this card using our Whimsy Fundamentals paper collection...let's check out the details for the card I created for today :)
I chose to use TWO types of embossing on this piece....dry embossing - with the Chevron 5x7 embossing folder & Heat embossing - using the heat tool & gold embossing powder.
By stamping my seashells with Versamark ink on the colored cardstock, sprinkling it with gold embossing powder & heat setting it....I created already "colored in" seashells!
How BEAUTIFUL these seashells turned out!  If only you could see them in person. :)
The sentiment, sending smiles,  comes from the stamp set that's included in the Flower Market Cricut bundle.
The ribbon comes from the Whimsy Fundamentals collection, and is one of five designs you would receive in this ribbon pack.
Here's a bit better of a photo, where you can see the light reflecting off of the gold embossed images...so pretty!!
I hope you enjoyed this card , and now it's time to "Hop" on over to Michele's  Blog to see her amazing work!
